1.3 Video Chat Recording Policy

Video and audio streams are transmitted directly between users (peer-to-peer) or through our servers for relay purposes. Under normal circumstances, we do not retain copies of your video communications.

Safety Exception: For safety and moderation purposes, when a report is filed against a user or our AI safety system flags potentially harmful content, we may temporarily retain up to 3 minutes of video/audio from that session. This recording is:

  • Used solely to investigate reported violations
  • Retained for a maximum of 7 days
  • Accessible only to authorized moderation staff
  • Automatically deleted after the investigation period

This limited recording helps us maintain a safe environment and take action against users who violate our Community Rules.
